Design
The new
Toyota 4Runner shows off a rugged design with durable body-on-frame
construction. While this Toyota SUV is situated for family trips to the Randy
Creek Nature Center and Preserve and other outdoor spots, the Toyota 4Runner
claims North Carolina trails outside Charlotte as its true home.
This new
Toyota SUV's standard LED headlights and fog lights illuminate any trail across
the Carolinas. The Toyota 4Runner rides on 20-inch split 6-spoke alloy wheels,
17-inch dark gray alloy wheels, or 17-inch 7-spoke alloy wheels.
When
Charlotte motorists can't cram extra gear inside, they can use the available
Yakima® LoadWarrior cargo basket to store equipment up top. Speaking of cargo,
the standard Power Rear Glass provides grab-and-go access to the storage
hold.
Additional
exterior features include heated side mirrors with a turn signal indicator,
roof rails, and a skid plate. There are also 10 exterior paint colors for
Charlotte customers to choose from, including Army Green, Nautical Blue
Metallic, Lime Rush, and Barcelona Red Metallic.
Interior
Design
There's
plenty of room for Charlotte families, as the Toyota 4Runner can sit between
five to seven passengers. Optional third-row seating comes with the SR5 and
Limited models. Flex the 47.2 cubic-foot storage hold to a total cargo capacity
of 88.8 cubic feet by using the 40/20/40 fold-flat second-row seats.
If you're
going camping in the Carolinas or tailgating at Bank of America Stadium for a
Carolina Panthers football game, you can put the Toyota 4Runner's sliding rear
cargo deck to good use, as it's capable of holding up to 440 pounds.
This new
Toyota SUV offers perforated leather-trimmed or SofTex®-trimmed seats,
dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power tilt and slide
moonroof.

Performance
Have plenty
of power on each exploration with the Toyota 4Runner's 4.0-liter V6 engine that
delivers 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque, along with a 5,000-pound
towing capacity. This Toyota SUV earns 19 miles per gallon on Charlotte highways.
Conquer any
trail with the Toyota 4Runner's Crawl Control and Multi-Terrain Select.
Additional performance features include four-wheel drive and an X-REAS Sport
Enhancement Suspension.

Safety
Four helpful driver-assist technologies come with the standard Toyota Safety Sense™ P suite. These include:
- Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection

For additional assistance in Charlotte traffic, you can use the available Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Use the backup camera with a 360-degree view when leaving dinner at River's Edge. The Toyota 4Runner also offers eight standard airbags and a Tire Pressure Monitor System.
